From August 1 to 2, 2026, the PostNord Tour of Denmark hosted its final two race days. Following the gruelling mountain queen stage, riders contested an individual time trial and the concluding finale stage respectively. Maintaining consistent form, Team MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort secured safe finishes for its key riders while continuing to chase UCI points, wrapping up all stages of the tournament without incident.

Stage 4: Individual Time Trial Shapes Overall General Classification
Stage 4 on August 1 featured the individual time trial. Significant gaps had already opened up across the general classification in the preceding three stages, making this time trial decisive for the final overall standings.
Race leader Wout van Aert delivered elite-level time trial performances, stretching his overall lead to firmly hold the blue general classification jersey and establish an unassailable advantage heading into the closing stage.
For MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort, the core objective of this stage was to sustain steady pacing amid the fast-paced time trial, avoid crashes or mechanical issues, and conserve energy for the flat sprint finale the next day. All of the squad’s leading riders crossed the finish line safely with no falls or equipment malfunctions, laying solid groundwork for the tournament’s final leg.

Stage 5: Flat Sprint Finale – MBH Squad Concludes the Race Successfully
August 2 marked the final flat stage of the PostNord Tour of Denmark. Racing unfolded at a blistering tempo, with sprint teams taking control of the peloton from the mid-section of the stage. Multiple breakaway groups were reeled back by the main field, setting up a high-speed mass sprint to settle the stage honours.
Visma | Lease a Bike rode an airtight defensive strategy to shield their overall leader, denying rival squads any opportunity to overhaul the standings. After a dramatic final sprint, the race drew to a close, with Wout van Aert claiming the overall title in a dominant display across the five days of competition.
MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort stuck to its cohesive team riding tactics throughout the final stage. The entire roster finished the leg without major mishaps, bringing its campaign at the 2026 PostNord Tour of Denmark to a successful close.

Overall Performance of Team MBH: Solid Finishes & Valuable Experience for Young Roster
This 2026 PostNord Tour of Denmark marked the first time MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort lined up at the race as a UCI ProTeam. The squad fielded a predominantly young roster that raced proactively against WorldTeam powerhouses and numerous competitive professional outfits. Standout individual performances include:
Lorenzo Masciarelli delivered consistent finishes across multiple stages, maintaining strong rhythm on fast flat roads and rolling terrain alike.
Márk Valent endured the brutal climbing demands of the queen stage and safely reached each finish line.
Marcin Budziński took on extensive support duties throughout the event, providing vital tactical and physical backup for his teammates.
Though the team missed out on stage podiums and top placings in the general classification, completing all five stages with consistent riding against world-class competition and accruing vital international race experience represents a major milestone for MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort in its maiden UCI ProTeam campaign.
