UPVINE provides a limited lifetime quality warranty for wheel set products purchased through authorized UPVINE dealers or official sales channels.

Limited Lifetime Quality Warranty

Under normal usage conditions, if product performance or structural abnormalities arise due to material defects or manufacturing process issues, and are verified as quality problems by UPVINE or its authorized service providers, UPVINE will at its reasonable discretion, repair or replace the relevant components.

This warranty extends from the date of purchase.

All after-sales services shall be governed by these detailed rules.

Care Programme (Two-Year Free Warranty)

For all UPVINE brand wheel set products purchased through authorized UPVINE dealers at no less than the official suggested retail price, UPVINE provides the “Care programme” service (hereinafter referred to as “this programme”) for a period of two years from the date of purchase.

This Programme constitutes an additional commercial care service provided by UPVINE and does not replace or diminish your statutory rights under applicable law (such as free repair, replacement, or return due to product quality defects).

During the warranty period, the three core components–rims, spokes, and hubs–are each eligible for one complimentary warranty service. Warranty coverage applies to product damage resulting from accidental factors during normal riding conditions (including but not limited to collisions or falls), excluding the following situations:

  • Damage caused by intentional human actions (including but not limited to deliberate impacts, destruction, or modifications);
  • Other situations explicitly excluded by law or this warranty statement (such as improper use, violent transport, or modifications exceeding specifications,etc).
  • Damage occurring when the product was beyond its normal operating state.

The specific form of free warranty service (repair or replacement) shall be determined solely by UPVINE based on the actual damage condition. Each component is eligible for this service only once; after utilization, the component is no longer covered under this programme. A valid proof of purchase must be provided when applying for warranty service,shipping costs and repair labor fees shall be borne by the user.

Warranty Service Coverage

Rim Warranty: Provides rim coating repair or rim replacement when replacement criteria are met. Rim Replacement Criteria: Structural damage rendering the product unusable or posing safety hazards if continued use.

Spoke Warranty: Provides spoke replacement service.

Hub Warranty: Provides hub component replacement or complete hub replacement service.

Lifetime 30% Off Replacement Service

UPVINE offers all original purchasers of UPVINE brand wheel sets a lifetime “30% Off replacement” service.

Regardless of the cause of damage (excluding intentional human damage and counterfeit products), users may return damaged wheel system and purchase a brand-new wheel system of the same model and specifications at 70% of the product's original official retail price.

If the original model is discontinued or out of stock, UPVINE will provide an equivalent replacement product for the user's selection.

All shipping costs associated with returning the damaged wheel sets and purchasing the new wheel sets shall be borne by the user or the end-user of the wheel sets.

A valid proof of purchase is required to apply for this service.

Lifetime Paid Repair Service

For damage not covered under the quality warranty, UPVINE still provides lifetime repair support: Replacement components and labor costs will be charged at the officially published price. If repair service is required by UPVINE : Users must bear the transportation costs for the wheel sets.

Warranty Exclusions

The following conditions are not covered under warranty, and UPVINE shall not be liable for free repairs or replacements:

  • Unauthorized modifications to the wheel set's structural components.
  • Mixed use of metal rim brake pads with carbon rim brake pads.
  • Improper installation or combination with incompatible products.
  • Improper usage, e.g., riding road wheel sets on unpaved surfaces.
  • Rough handling or transportation.
  • Damage caused by incorrect components or tools, such as:
    • Metal tire levers must not be used;
    • Only sufficiently long valve may be used;
    • Maximum internal tire pressure for the wheel sets and tires must not be exceeded; Only use rim tape, inner tubes, and tires compatible with the wheel size; Rim brake carbon wheels are not recommended for use with latex inner tubes (carbon fiber's heat retention combined with latex's heat sensitivity increases the risk of blowouts).

Maintenance suggestions

To ensure wheel performance and riding safety, UPVINE recommends users undergo professional wheel maintenance and inspection every 5,000 kilometers or every 6 months.

Other Important Instructions

This warranty applies only to brand-new wheels purchased at official price through authorized UPVINE dealers.

Warranty claims must be processed through authorized dealers with a purchase receipt or other proof of purchase date.

Warranty periods and details may vary by country or region. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights, and you may also have additional rights under local laws.

UPVINE shall not be liable for any direct, incidental, or consequential damages (including but without limitation, damage for personal injury, property damage, or economic loss) resulting from improper use, modification, accidents, or non-product defects.
