April 26, 2026 – Belgium — The 112th edition of Liège–Bastogne–Liège concluded with a commanding performance from Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates), who secured victory with a decisive late-race solo move.
Covering approximately 259.5 kilometers through the Ardennes, the race once again delivered its trademark combination of relentless climbing and tactical intensity, reaffirming its status as one of cycling’s five Monuments.
The defining moment came on the Côte de la Roche-aux-Faucons, around 14 kilometers from the finish. Pogačar launched a powerful attack, quickly opening a gap on his rivals before extending his advantage all the way to the line. He ultimately crossed the finish with a margin of roughly 45 seconds.
Behind him, rising French talent Paul Seixas delivered an impressive ride to take second place, while Belgium’s Remco Evenepoel secured third after winning the sprint from the chasing group.
The race unfolded in classic Liège fashion. An early breakaway established a lead, but the peloton gradually reeled it back in as the decisive climbs approached. The repeated ascents ultimately reduced the field to a select group of contenders, setting the stage for the final attack.
