After Stage 6, Pogačar’s cumulative time stood at 15 hours 38 minutes 27 seconds, keeping him in the red jersey.
Buoyed by his brilliant ride, Enric Mas climbed to second overall, sitting 3 minutes 34 seconds behind Pogačar. Former second-placed Primož Roglič slipped to third, at 4 minutes 21 seconds deficit to the red-jersey holder.
